We are collaborating with one of our global clients, who are seeking to onboard several Senior Application Security Engineers to their expanding in-house Information Security team.
This is a senior technical security role for an individual with a mixed range of skills from hands-on security engineering through to architecture. As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you build and/or implement security tools and platforms that enhance our information security prevention, detection, and response capabilities.
Key Requirements:
This position entails working on-site at their Hertfordshire office for 1-2 days a week and offers a base salary of £90-100k with 20% bonus and additional benefits.

This is a senior technical security role for an individual with a mixed range of skills from hands-on security engineering through to architecture. As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you build and/or implement security tools and platforms that enhance our information security prevention, detection, and response capabilities.
Key Requirements:
- Lead security initiatives, threat modelling, enhancing application security and reducing vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate architecture and designs for security issues and support software development teams.
- Review critical code, build pipelines and deployment methods.
- Participate in assurance activities such as penetration testing, purple testing, and application assurance.
- A solid grasp of public cloud services and various architectural patterns.
- Proficiency in application security and a strong grasp of DevSecOps (the shift-left culture).
- Familiarity with security principles and standards such as NIST, ISO27001, CIS, MITRE.
- Develop quarterly/monthly roadmaps for security tasks and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Certifications in Azure or AWS cloud Security is a plus.
