Senior Cyber Security Consultant

We are working with an established Consultancy who are looking to add talented Cyber Security Consultants to their team working across their MOD/Defence and Public Sector clients.
This role would be best suited to consultants with a technical background, a solid understanding of the likes of security and technical architecture and are able to provide expertise and knowledge across a broad spectrum of technology.
KEY DETAILS
If you have industry certificates such as CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CISM or equivalent technical certifications and a natural propensity to learn that would certainly help.
Whilst the Consultancy’s head office is based in Surrey, this role would be largely placed on client sites 2-3 days per week so the ability to travel would be necessary.
This position would also require security clearance of SC and above so it would be great if you have been able to attain this in the past.
There are a range of positions available to suit all levels of experience from 2 years upwards and as such salary ranges are from £40,000 – £70,000 and also comes with a strong bonus structure.

- Knowledge of Risk and Compliance frameworks such as ISO27001 and NIST
- A solid understanding of secure architecture and related methodologies such as SABSA and TOGAF
- Be able to be client-facing and translate technical information into easy-to-understand non-technical formats
- The ability to perform technical Risk Assessments
- Knowledge of the likes of scoping testing activities, security monitoring and investigating incidents and other areas of a hands on technical infrastructure.
