Are you a penetration testing manager or team lead looking to progress into strategic and technical leadership role?
Would you like the opportunity to manage, grow and lead a UK penetration testing division whilst shaping and growing additional service lines?
I’m currently partnering with a well-established, multi-offering security consultancy who are looking for a lead penetration tester or penetration testing manager to join their team and play a key role in developing their technical service offerings and manage their existing testing team.

The Role
As the head of penetration testing, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, developing and growing the penetration testing team.
- Leading and directing the establishment of new service lines.
- Contribute to internal R&D for and pen test enhancement and enhancing the teams industry reputation.
- Assisting and support consultants with their professional development and attainment of qualifications.
- Actively represent the business at national and international industry events
- Supporting the team’s growth and development from a revenue perspective including presales and account management (no sales targets).
Desirable Skills
- Proven experience in a previous role leading technical teams.
- Experience in a managerial penetration testing role with a strong technical background.
- Development and/or contribution to new service lines and process improvement
- Research & Development Experience
- Experience of managing large scale engagements and customer accounts.
- Strong personnel management skills.
- Experience with stakeholder management (internal and external)
